Training in New Zealand
Just got back from my holiday trip. Since it's a critical training period for the Langkawi Ironman, I have to lug along my bike and running shoes to clock some saddle time and running mileage. It's also a good rehearsal for me to try out packing my bike in the newly bought bike case. Pictures of my trip can be found here.

Day M+4 and swim
4-day post marathon. Felt good this morning after a 8-hr sleep. No more aches in the legs. Happy with the rate of recovery. Went for a swim during lunch time. Have not hit the pool for like what? 4 weeks.
Kicks, Side-kick and balancing drills, flippers (they just do wonders, without even kicking much, you can feel your body cutting through the waters), now to bilateral swimming. Breathing on my off-side is still a challenge. Could only do 100m interval with bilateral before I completely lost my rythm and gasping for air. One hour past, got to get back to my errands. Decided to go for 2 more laps of bilateral. Hey if I were to kinda of stretch and lounge forward on my offside, I found that I could stay up longer to catch a more complete breath. New discovery. Umh.. Let's try it the next time.
